Federated Commonwealth Defense Forces (FCDF)
FedCom's proud military heritage is as old as the nation itself. The nation's defense is handled by a dedicated team of professional citizen-soldier volunteers.
FedCom utilizes a non-traditional system of military organization, which strongly favors combined-arms tactics, rapid response times, individual initiative, operational flexibility and autonomy, and a streamlined and efficient chain of command.

 Dragonforce:
Based in Tatsu Eyrie, Dragonforce is an elite multi-purpose unit that is designed with the Cytran project in mind. In war, Dragonforce provides close air support and can function as heavy-duty shock troops, airborne cavalry, and a rapid-response force. In peacetime, the members of Dragonforce serve as peacekeepers, messengers, police, search & rescue, firefighters, artisans, and engineers.
Toumans:
FedCom's ground forces function as multiple independent armies, each designed to dominate the land and air within its operational area. Toumans combine traditional Army, Air Force, and Special Forces roles into a single self-sufficient fighting unit. Touman Commanders are fully empowered to customize their unit, often specializing in specific combat tactics.
Navy:
While the Toumans rule the land and the skies above it, the Navy focuses on the sea. The Navy patrols the sea around Malatora, functions as transportation for Toumans (force projection), fights blockades, and provides support to amphibious operations.
Civil Defense:
The Civil Defense is strictly a home defense force. Each Member-State creates and manages its own militia independently, and uses these units for self-defense and disaster relief. In the event of an invasion, the regular military forces would reinforce these militia, and they would work together to repel the invaders.
