Federated Commonwealth of Malatora
Welcome to FedCom!

And welcome to the newest revision of our website!

Please note:  This website is still under construction, and there are a few gaps and incomplete sections.  It was published prematurely because despite these gaps, there is significantly more information in this version, and it has major usability upgrades and improvements over its out-dated predecessor.  Our small team of web developers is working diligently to finish this site and plug all the gaps; it should be done within the next few weeks.

What is FedCom?
The "Federated Commonwealth of Malatora" (often shortened to simply "FedCom") is, in short, the future.  People should be free to live with as few laws as possible, and society should promote and support the common good of all.  Our goals include uplifting humanity to the next social and evolutionary level.  We believe that science can push the limits of what most people consider possible, and we do not fear pushing beyond the limits and weakness of the original human body.

Some may call FedCom a micronation — and as far as the fact that our society has a comparitively small population and limited resources, that is accurate.  However, FedCom also stands notably distinct from any other micronation, with our revolutionary social policies, unique system of government, heavy integration with a major transhumanist project that will alter the course of history forever, and many other factors.  The vast majority of micronations exist to stroke the ego of their creator/leader, but FedCom is a direct democracy, and lacks that issue entirely.  Also, many micronations have little or no real interest in evolving into anything greater than a hobby, and even if they do, virtually none have a solid plan to achieve such wishes.  In sharp contrast, FedCom is firmly on the path to establishing real de facto sovereignty, and has extensive planning and a roadmap for successfully reaching that goal.

Most accurately, FedCom is a "new-country project".

FedCom will be a nation apart from all others, and the world will once again have that "city on a hill" — an example of how a society should live.  If you are interested in learning more, feel free to examine the contents of this website, and contact us via our forums.  Our citizens will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
What makes FedCom different?
FedCom is more than just a nation or a community: it is a family.  We are dedicated to the growth of community spirit and the unleashing of the peoples' power for mutual benefit.  In FedCom, each individual really does matter, and even the smallest or weakest member can contribute to society.  Building upon the foundation of the greatest nations ever to have come, we shall endeavor to surpass them and become the new beacon of knowledge and reason in the world: and example of what can be accomplished when you believe in yourself and the power of your community.

As we continue to grow and prosper, we invite those who wish to be free and push the envelope of what is possible to be a part of our history.  We invite you to join our forums and ask questions, so that we can discuss what we have to offer, and what you may help us with.  (Joining the forum does not automatically make you a member of FedCom's community: you must take specific steps for that.)
Why do this?
The shortest possible answer: "self-determination".

Our society's ideals and objectives are either not represented by any existing country on the planet, or not permitted.  We have nowhere else to go, and nobody else to turn to; there is no future for us in the established order.  Thus, we have no choice but to create an entirely new country, where our society can find refuge and flourish.
